Discover the heartfelt journey and mission behind Betsy Cole’s inspirational work, Through the Seven Doors.
I grew up with a love for Jesus Christ and the desire to tell others about Him. However, God had a different plan for my life. He turned my life upside down to the point I couldn’t tell anyone about Jesus because I believed God had rejected me and thrown me away.
The Lord revealed many years ago that mercy ministry was where I belonged. My mission is to go love the unloved, go where no one else wants to go, and that’s what I did.
My missions involve a lot of prayer for those lost and rejected to be spiritually awakened and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
My spiritual goal for this website and book is to glorify God in a way that others will be drawn to His forgiveness, love, mercy, grace, and salvation. My fleshly goal is to provide an opportunity to help and encourage others through their journey because it’s very difficult when you think you’re traveling alone.
My combined goal is to defeat Satan with my testimony and the blood of Jesus!
He is finished.
I work every day through the power of the Holy Spirit to bring love, acceptance, and joy to those around me.
My mother was given this verse when I was first stuck with the AIDS and hepatitis viruses: Psalm 118:17, “I will not die; instead, I will live to tell what the Lord has done.”
This is what I am doing, my original dream—a missionary nurse. My mother wrote this poem for me many years ago, and I want to share it with the world.
“I will not die; instead, I will live to tell what the Lord has done.”

I know a gold medal winner—you would never know she is competing by her concern for others, her honest caring, her putting others first, not herself. Is that the character of a competitor? In this case, yes. This competitor, you see, is in a race not for short-lived fame, but for everlasting fame—for eternity. She is winning! The obstacles are overwhelming. You must be specially called to enter this race. No one would dare enter of his own accord. The goal is to continue competing day after day after day, with the wire being constantly moved ahead.
What a race and what a winner—a Gold Medal Winner.
